Inserting the CUA Wordmark Signature into E-Mails for Outlook 2010

Right click on the jpg below and save it to a folder on your computer.
 

  1. Once in Outlook, click on New E-mail.
  2. Click Signature and then Signatures.
  3. From here, you can edit your current email signature in the text box (by simply updating text, deleting images, and uploading new ones. To update a new image, proceed to step 6). To create a new signature, click on New.
  4. In the Type a name for this signature box, type "CUA Tagline" or however you want to label this signature and click OK.
  5. Insert any text (name, title, phone number, etc.) that you wish to accompany the tagline.
  6. Place the cursor where you would the wordmark to appear and click on the inset image icon, which is the second from the right on the toolbar above the text editing area.
  7. Search for the folder where you saved the jpg file and click on it. Click Insert.
  8. Click the Save button when you are finished making changes.
  9. Click OK.
  10. When you open a new email, your signature should now appear.
     

Inserting the CUA Wordmark Signature into E-Mails on Older Versions of Outlook

Right click on the jpg below and save it to a folder on your computer. Then follow the instructions to label the downloaded jpg file as "CUA Wordmark" for use in your e-mail.

  1. From the main Outlook window, in the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Mail Format tab.
  2. Under Message Format, in the Compose in this message format list, click HTML.
  3. Under Signature, click Signatures, and then click New.
  4. In the Enter a name for your new signature box, type "CUA Tagline."
  5. Click Next.
  6. Click Advanced Edit.
  7. NOTE: When the dialog box appears cautioning you that an editor not part of Microsoft Office Outlook will open, click Yes.
  8. Insert any text (name, title, phone number, etc.) that you wish to accompany the tagline. Then press Enter twice.
  9. To insert the wordmark signature, click on Insert in the menu, then select Picture and then click on From File.
  10. Search for the folder where you saved the jpg file and click on it. Click Insert.
  11. Click on the X in the top right corner to exit the advanced editor. Click Yes to save your changes.
  12. If the Save Embedded Files box opens, click OK. If Save Embedded Files box does not appear, go on to the next step.
  13. Click OK in the Create signature box.
  14. In the Mail Format screen be sure "CUA Wordmark" is selected under Signature for New Messages.
  15. Click Apply.
  16. Click OK.

The "CUA Wordmark" signature will now appear at the bottom of your new e-mail messages.
